EdUHK recently implemented a capacity-building project at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University in Kazakhstan to enhance the research and teaching skills of early career professors. The project, held from January 10-13, 2024, brought together 54 professors from eight regional universities.

Led by Professor Lo Sing Kai, Associate Vice-President (Internationalisation) of EdUHK, the project included workshops conducted by Dr. Ju Seong Lee, Acting Head of ELE, and Dr. Daner Sun, Associate Head of MIT. The workshops covered topics such as student motivation, artificial intelligence, digital storytelling, innovative teaching methods, academic writing, and intervention research.

The intensive workshops received positive feedback from the participating professors, who showed enthusiasm and found the approaches and resources highly valuable. They praised the quality of the workshops and appreciated the opportunity for personal and professional growth.

ELE aims to become a global leader in the field of English Language Education and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of people and communities, both in Hong Kong and worldwide.
